Quality Auditor

Responsibilities

• Inspects raw materials and/or finished goods for defects including visual, functionality, and cohesion.
• Uses measurement equipment to ensure product meets customer specifications.
• Notifies operator of defects and closely monitors product until corrected.
• Assists WGL with containment of defective product.
• Audits for correct packaging and other customer quality requirements.
• Follows all quality procedures as outlined by management and accurately completes all required paperwork pertaining to these procedures.
• Enters and maintains quality data results in the quality management system.
• Maintains work area in a safe manner.
• Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills (data entry) required.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift upwards to 50lbs up to a level of 6ft high multiple times per day.
• Ability to perform simple calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and apply good mathematical reasoning.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with little or no supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to be detail-oriented.
• Positive work attitude and willingness to cooperate.

Pay

$19.75 - $28.22 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift - 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday through Friday)
