Key Responsibilities
- Audits processes, fabricated and/or purchased parts against applicable drawings, bills of material, engineering documents, inspection procedures, etc.
- Conducts process audits as required.
- Assists the production department in quality improvement teams.
- Assists production by detecting issues in supply depts prior to the entire coil being built and being sent to final inspection.
- Assists in Training personnel if required.
Position Requirements
- Requires a high school education or equivalent.
- Understanding of how to conduct process audits.
- 12 to 18 months required to achieve the job knowledge of all operations and documents pertaining to the specific job.
- Detects visual discrepancies.
- Detects discrepancies in various Engineering Documents, such as Engineering Deviations, Standards, etc.
- Must be able to coordinate with production supervision.
- Must be “team oriented”.
- Performs certified leak tests and certificate of conformance.
- Basic office computer skills (such as Excel, Word, SAP, etc).
Required Education & Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
- Understanding of process audits.
- Experience: 12 to 18 months required to achieve job knowledge.
- Visual discrepancy detection skills.
- Ability to detect discrepancies in Engineering Documents.
- Coordination with production supervision.
- Team-oriented approach.
- Basic office computer skills.
