About the role

This is a full-time, 2nd-shift Quality Auditor position based in Pioneer, Ohio, supporting our continued growth. The role involves performing in-process and final inspections of stamped parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 1:45 pm–10:00 pm
  • Overtime required (daily, weekends, and some holidays)

Pay

  • Starting pay: $19.00/hour
  • $1.50 shift premium
  • Weekly pay

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine in-process inspections of parts at stamping presses using appropriate gages (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pin gages, attribute gaging).
  • Verify parts meet dimensional and visual standards per control plans and quality alerts.
  • Document inspection results accurately and communicate non-conformances to production and quality leadership.
  • Support the Sort Department in identifying and segregating non-conforming product.
  • Participate in containment activities and assist with re-inspection and rework tasks when necessary.
  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and traceability of sorted materials.
  • Maintain clean and organized inspection and sorting work areas.
  • Collaborate with press operators, quality technicians, and supervisors to promote a culture of quality.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and wear required PPE.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic measurement tools and gages.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part drawings (a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
