About the role

Senior Quality Assurance Tester to join our development team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The Senior QA Tester will be responsible for defining and executing test strategies, leading complex testing initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in our QA processes and automation coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases for new and existing product features.
  • Execute various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, and clearly document, prioritize, and track defects from discovery through resolution.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation scripts and frameworks (e.g., using Selenium, TestRail) to maximize test coverage and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand requirements, clarify user stories, and ensure testability of features throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement within the QA process and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum).

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
  • US Citizenship required and eligible to obtain and maintain a government-issued Public Trust.
  • Expert proficiency in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and software engineering best practices.
  • Strong hands-on experience with back-end testing, including writing complex SQL queries.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective communication with stakeholders, management, and development teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience with multiple test automation tools is preferred.
  • Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $110,000-$120,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
