Quality Assurance Technician I

Overview

Quality Assurance Technicians perform standardized tests to ensure the product complies with company, customer, and government specifications and requirements, and support the QA department in ensuring all quality and Food Safety & Food Quality-related programs and procedures are met.

What You'll Do

• Maintains production lines to ensure products are within specification and meets all critical control points and quality points.
• Takes corrective actions if deviations occur.
• Verifies all product codes, scales, and performs sifter tailing inspections.
• Assists in product sensory reviews and daily lab paperwork reviews.
• Prepares first production samples, verifies labels, and logs data.
• Assists in production when quality issues arise, leads root cause investigations, and inspects line equipment.
• Prints and passes out quality production paperwork when necessary.
• Uses Microsoft Office and DeaCom to enter data accurately.
• Maintains and files all records according to company policy.
• Communicates effectively with production and other quality personnel via 2-way radios.

What You'll Need

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Ability to work with various personnel including managerial, clerical, production, and maintenance.
• Decision-making and writing abilities.
• Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Pay

$19.80 hourly rate

Schedule

• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
