Location: San Jose, CA • Duration: 4 months • 40 hours/week • Pay rate: $20–30/hr • 1st shift
About the role
Conducts visual and dimensional inspections, documentation review, and data entry. Reports quality failures encountered during the inspection process verbally and in writing per the Quality Notification Reporting procedure. Uses training, experience, and basic knowledge of quality control concepts, practices, and procedures. Works under general supervision in a team environment and ensures procedures and processes are followed.
Responsibilities
- Perform First Article Inspection
- Understand and follow the engineering change order process
- Maintain a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Organize and prioritize tasks effectively
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Apply problem-solving skills to quality issues
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
- Communicate clearly both orally and in writing
Requirements
- Experience working under GMP, ISO 9000, or similar quality environments
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Office, SAP, and Adaptive
- Collaborative and agile mindset
- US Citizenship or Green Card required
- Entry-level experience acceptable
