POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Technician – Cultivation is responsible for ensuring the quality of Trulieve’s flower products and assisting in the maintenance and continuous improvement of Trulieve’s internal Quality System. This individual will serve as a primary Quality Assurance resource for department supervisors for problem identification, and resolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure the quality of Trulieve flower products meets and/or exceeds all specifications for customers. - Inspect and test flower products for quality defects in the manufacturing process and report issues and concerns to various departments. - Ensure all equipment, guards, and safety devices are in place and follow safe work procedures and safety rules. - Perform continual quality control checks to ensure product is produced within specifications. - Audit various applications of flower product to ensure SOP specifications are met. - Analyze spoilage, record causes, and take corrective actions where applicable. - Monitor processes and report all problems to supervision through interaction and required paperwork. - Advise management and coach fellow co-workers on matters regarding quality issues. - Follow all SOP requirements and intercede or challenge proper personnel when defects are present in cultivation. - Notify supervisor of any incidences of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken and of any poor-quality material or supplies noted. - Interact and report to/with the Quality Manager/Supervisor in creation and revisions of SOP's as changes and additions require. - Keep the area safe, clean, and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screening. - Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV). - High school diploma or equivalent. - An Associate's Degree or equivalent is a benefit as well as any quality related training or certification. - Experience with maintaining accurate records as well as experience with accurate measurement capability. - Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access) and be able to handle working with multiple programs. - Knowledge and work history of focusing on quality and safety in every aspect of the job. - Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time. - Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment. - Working experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred. - Ability to work with little to no supervision with strong attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and or carry such weight a minimum of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance. - Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch, frequently/constantly to complete tasks. - Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater). - Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions. - Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise).
