Quality Assurance Technician

Core Hours 1st Shift: Monday thru Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm. *Saturday hours are generally 6:45 am to 12:45 pm. 2nd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 2:45 pm to 10:45 pm. *Saturday hours are generally 12:45 pm to 6:45 pm. Shift Differential of $1.00/hr. above the base rate 3rd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 10:45 pm to 6:45 am. *Saturday hours are generally 6:45 pm to 12:45 am or until Sanitation is complete. Please note we have a Monday night start for 3rd Shift. Availability of Saturday hours are dependent on production and staffing needs. Shift Differential of $1.50/hr. above the base rate Skills Individual must be a self-starter, easily motivated and require limited or no supervision; able to develop necessary computer and laboratory skillsIndividual must have production experience and a knowledge of product lines at MCCExhibit a strong example of Good Manufacturing PracticesApplicant must possess good math, record keeping skills and legible handwritingA positive attitude and ability to work in a team concept is a mustMust be dependable and have a certain degree of flexibility to work overtime, different shifts and Saturdays when needed Position Requirements QA production line checks, weight control, verification of production orders, GMP’s observations, gas flush, microbiological sampling, keeping quality samples, weekly production seal integrity checks, new product's evaluation, metal detector checks, perform environmental swabs and environmental air, SAP, understand and proper documentation of hold products, and Read and understand product specification standardsCompliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF and established safety rules and regulations.Willing to assist in training for the position when needed Please note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
