Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

Lyons Magnus LLC is seeking Quality Assurance Technicians for various shifts at its Walton, KY Facility. The positions are available for Day and Night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in problem solving events to determine root cause and establish preventive measures.
• Knowledge and application of 100% of all laboratory procedures, cross functionally trained and able to cover 100% of Quality Control and Assurance checks or expectations.
• Absorb and document results of sensory evaluations on samples.
• Ensure effective collection and shipment of customer samples and with appropriate documentation.
• Work independently at batch stations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Perform batch/make necessary adjustments using experience and tools provided at frontline stations for all lines/product SKUs independently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 1-3 years' experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven track record of exceptional organizational, planning and overall time management skills in addition to exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation.

Qualifications

• Follow all lab methods and procedures (responsibilities are completed and accurate).
• Participate in the LME safety program.
• Absorb and abide by all internal policies, including adherence to all GMP practices, attendance policy and completion of methodology described in the Technical Services Manual.

Pay

Pay Range: Day shift: $20.00 - $21.00 /per hour Night shift includes a 5% differential.

Schedule

• First: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Night: 10:00pm - 6:30am
