Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Halifax, PA

Starting Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday – Thursday)

About the role

Hearth & Home Technologies is the nation’s leading manufacturer and supplier of hearth products, including gas, electric, wood, and pellet fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and accessories. The Quality Assurance Technician will join the Stoves Business Unit, which delivers high‑quality, reliable stove solutions under brands such as Harman, Vermont Castings, Quadra‑Fire, and Forge & Flame. The role supports Lean Manufacturing by assessing quality problems and recommending corrective actions to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Appraise quality problems and recommend/implement corrective actions based on statistical data analysis.
• Conduct statistical studies on processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, engineering, and factory managers to develop methods that achieve quality goals.
• Monitor production quality through finished‑goods audits.
• Inspect and test incoming purchased parts.
• Manage the receiving program and work with suppliers on quality issues.
• Monitor new product introductions and conduct quality audits, testing, and documentation review.
• Perform finished‑goods and consumer audits, visually inspecting fit, form, function, and accessory fit‑up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
