Required Skills
- Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- AA/AS from an accredited college, or 2-year technical school and certification in area of expertise in engineering with 5 years progressive experience in quality assurance/control within the DOD environment.
- Serve as a technical liaison between quality control and other departments.
- Cook up coordination testing with Test Engineers.
- Perform visual inspections of finished products.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory requirements.
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols.
Desired Skills
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed.
