Responsibilities
- Perform unbiased product quality testing in assigned area.
- Keep an accurate and legible record of all testing completed.
- Ensure product safety and sanitary conditions are always maintained in the processing areas.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Knowledge of GMP’s.
- Prior experience in Quality Control.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within our company.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Have a good attendance history - 4 points or less.
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
- Be willing to be cross-trained and learn all tasks in the department.
- Have the ability to perform basic mathematics.
- Know how to effectively manage time to complete all assigned tasks.
Physical Requirements
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- May be exposed to chemicals used in the processing facility.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the position as directed by Case Farms.
- Able to stand or freely move for duration of shift.
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- Able to climb steps and to access and egress through production environment.
- Able to work with tools, like scissors, knives and/or power tools for the duration of the shift.
