Responsibilities

• Conduct audits, provide results, and track corrective actions
• Train and assist operators with quality tools and processes
• Perform product evaluation testing and participate in continuous improvement activities
• Create and maintain records of audit results and findings
• Support Business Process Audits
• Conduct assembly process and product audits, offering feedback and training
• Assist Quality Engineering with performance test results
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
• Follow written procedures and work instructions
• Support Quality Engineers with test results
• Operate complex test equipment and software
• Respond to operator questions regarding test methods and measurements
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Associates degree in a technical field or 2 years technical training and 2 years related experience in machine shop, mechanical assembly, optical assembly, or optical systems and components
• User knowledge of Microsoft computer software products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Training in internal auditing, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, ASQ Certified, and CQT (Technician)
• ERP/MRP experience preferred

Pay and Schedule

Base Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 (DOE) + $2.00/hour Shift Differential

Schedule

Monday-Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
