Job Description JOB DETAILS 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-4:30 PM with overtime as needed Pay: $20.00 per hour DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Complete tasks as assigned by the Quality Department LeadershipUnderstand and follow all applicable PPE requirementsIdentify and provide training and support to team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and processesPerform and document in-process glass and window manufacturing inspectionsVerification of completed product compliance to applicable quality standards Collaborate with production leads, supervisors, and additional quality support members to correct non-compliance findings and trendsAid in addressing recurring issues by conducting appropriate root cause analysis to drive corrective measuresIdentifying, dispositioning, and communication of non-conforming productsCreate and distribute non-conformance reports for both in-process and outsourced materials Qualifications Required Qualifications and Skills: Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point is desiredAbility to navigate technical applications on electronic devicesKnowledge and ability to utilize measuring tool devices (examples: tape measure, calipers, protractors, and feeler gauges)Ability to navigate numeric drawings and print diagramsGood listening skillsAbove average reading comprehensionAbility to analyze and present findings in a clear, concise, and logical manner through above average writing and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivatedGood time management skillsAbility to work in a flexible and fast-paced environmentProven teamwork and leadership abilitiesAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timePhysical ability to repetitively lift or carry a minimum of 20 lbsAble to prioritize tasks in an efficient manner in order to meet departmental goalsAbility to perform mathematical calculations as necessary Ability to work in a group settingAbility to read and interpret quality standards, work instructions, and production documentation. Strong understanding of basic mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and conversions. Ability to document inspection results accurately using written forms and computerized systems. Ability to work independently while managing multiple production lines or areasDemonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to producing high-quality productEducation & Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 5 years of Quality or Manufacturing experience preferred Experience using Measuring Equipment (Tape Measure and Calipers required)Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, or quality systems is preferred.
