Quality Assurance Supervisor - Hattiesburg, MS

About The Role

As the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you'll lead the charge in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You'll manage and mentor a team of QA professionals, implement operational procedures, and foster a culture of engagement and excellence. You'll also serve as a key member of our Food Safety and Food Defense Teams, helping to protect the integrity of our products and processes.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and train QA team members, assigning work schedules and daily direction.
• Ensure all QA procedures, records, and policies are current and compliant.
• Understand and oversee quality specifications, water treatment functions, and chemical handling.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies, sanitation chemicals, and product ingredients.
• Manage calibration records and upgrade lab testing equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with plant sanitation requirements and schedule annual PMs for lab equipment.
• Investigate batching and quality issues and oversee the quality hold program.
• Participate in cross-functional projects focused on quality, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

You're a hands-on leader with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for quality. You'll bring:

• A strong background in Quality Assurance.
• Higher education with emphasis in math, physics, or chemistry (preferred).
• Prior supervisory experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional communication and presentation skills.
• Effective team leadership and teambuilding abilities.
