Based in De Pere, Wisconsin, our NCS Chemistry facility develops and manufactures the cleaning and care chemicals that power car washes across North America. Our team combines chemical expertise with hands-on innovation to create formulas that deliver a superior wash experience—from soaps and waxes to specialty treatments.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future. This position is on-site in De Pere, Wisconsin.

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you are responsible for in-process and finished product testing to ensure product quality is maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and use laboratory equipment to test materials and finished goods to ensure they fall within quality standards of the business unit, including viscometers, pH meters, titrations, refractometers, and balances
  • Audit the work of production employees to ensure they are following mixing specifications
  • Inspect incoming raw materials when required to assure they meet company requirements
  • Aid manufacturing personnel regarding quality problems, which may include working with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Customer Service, or other involved departments
  • Inspect all finished products prior to shipment to ensure compliance with company specifications and procedures
  • Maintain records related to all aspects of quality operations
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science-related field
  • Maintain a satisfactory attendance record
  • Comply with company rules, policies, and decisions
  • Perform the responsibilities of the position at a satisfactory level of efficiency
  • Required to regularly use a Personal Computer (P.C.)
  • Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing firm

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift medium weight up to 75 lbs
  • May stand for prolonged periods of time
  • May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations
