Quality Assurance Specialist II
Bear Mountain, a division of All Native Group and Ho Chunk, Incorporated, is seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) II to ensure the editorial and technical integrity of all Career Training Continuum (CTC) deliverables.
About the Role
Reporting to the QAS III, you will serve as a key gatekeeper, ensuring every instructional product meets the NETC Style Guide, NAVEDTRA 142 standards, and Section 508 accessibility mandates. This role operates in executive settings with frequent engagement at the highest levels of Navy leadership, using executive office equipment and classified communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical and editorial reviews of all training materials, focusing on instructional integrity and adherence to the NETC NAVEDTRA 142.
- Verify that all multimedia products, including Adobe Captivate conversions, comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Assist in the collection and synthesis of pilot comments at training sites, ensuring all identified errors are documented for post-pilot remediation.
- Maintain "Team BMSC" quality standards across multiple rating portfolios to ensure seamless final curriculum delivery.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the evaluation of military multimedia training products.
- Experience with Adobe Captivate and MELD software.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Recognized as a specialty area expert in a specific Naval rating.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.

- Capability to lead a team of subject matter experts in a high-tempo curriculum development environment.
- Demonstrated experience working in all five phases of the Instructional Systems Design model.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and design skills for developing training course materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
