Quality Assurance Specialist
Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the planning, configuration, testing, and implementation of all operational changes to create the release package for the delivery of, or changes to, the designated service.
Manages all aspects of the end-to-end release process. Ensures coordination of build and test environments teams and release teams (as applicable).
Ensures teams follow the organization’s established policies and procedures.
Provides configuration management planning.
Provides support to the configuration change Operational and approval process.
Supports the quality assurance process audits.
Provide management reports on release progress.
Responsible for service roll out planning including method of deployment; and plans communication implementation in coordination with the Change Operational Process.
Qualifications
- At least Ten (10) Plus years of experience in network operations
- Routing and switching/Firewall (FW) SME with Six (6) Plus years Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments.
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
- Education Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field. or equivalent experience
- Certifications Preferred Include ITIL Level III CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE Change Management Certification SIX Sigma Certification Green Belt
- Background Investigation is required
