About the role
Conduct Gemba walks throughout the production process to verify that fragrance batches meet specifications, including testing at various stages (e.g., during mixing, before packing, HACCP). Support nonconformance investigations (Z3, Z1, Z5), monitor overdue actions in the IMS, and assist with document management control.
Review documentation, analytical data, product specifications, and process changes/deviations before product release to ensure compliance. Address and resolve any concerns or discrepancies, provide regular updates to senior management on product quality, trends, and challenges, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Gemba walks and testing at production stages (mixing, packing, HACCP).
- Support nonconformance investigations (Z3, Z1, Z5).
- Monitor overdue actions in the IMS and support document management control.
- Review documentation, analytical data, and process changes before product release.
- Address and resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Provide updates and reports to senior management on quality, trends, and challenges.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with operational units for compliance and process enhancements.
- Support the 5S program within the plant.
Requirements
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years in quality assurance, preferably in fragrance, food, or chemical industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems (e.g., SAP, LIMS).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Effective communication skills.
Schedule
1st shift - Day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
