Quality Assurance Representative III (Mechanical)

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools, including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, surface plates, and optical comparators
• Experience with FAROARM CMM systems or similar technologies and familiarity with PolyWorks software a strong plus
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Machinist experience is highly valued and encouraged to apply
• Welding experience is highly valued and encouraged to apply
• NDT experience and/or certifications are a strong plus
• Raw material mill certification verification experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes
• Document inspection results and generate detailed reports
• Communicate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve any discrepancies
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes

Pay

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $27.20 - $36.80. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
