Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Investigate and address quality issues: root cause, corrective and preventive actions
- Cook up material disposition of non-conforming product: rework, replacement, acceptance under deviations etc.
- Inspect materials in accordance to drawings and standards
- Day-to-day interfacing with internal departments and suppliers
- Final Inspection of finished machines
- Implement and further improve measures regarding quality assurance
- Systematically follow-up on quality problems to ensure verification of effectiveness (internally and with suppliers)
- Responsible to escalate issues if no adequate or effective measures are initiated
Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience in quality control in the parts/components manufacturing field
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, detailed knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with measuring equipment and detailed knowledge of inspection techniques
- Good inter-personal skills, attention to details, organizational skills in fast paced environment
- Able to use a computer and standard software packages (MS Office)
- Able to effectively work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
