Quality Assurance Representative

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Investigate and address quality issues: root cause, corrective and preventive actions
• Cook up material disposition of non-conforming product: rework, replacement, acceptance under deviations etc.
• Inspect materials in accordance to drawings and standards
• Day-to-day interfacing with internal departments and suppliers
• Final Inspection of finished machines
• Implement and further improve measures regarding quality assurance
• Systematically follow-up on quality problems to ensure verification of effectiveness (internally and with suppliers)
• Responsible to escalate issues if no adequate or effective measures are initiated

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience in quality control in the parts/components manufacturing field
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, detailed knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with measuring equipment and detailed knowledge of inspection techniques
• Good inter-personal skills, attention to details, organizational skills in fast paced environment
• Able to use a computer and standard software packages (MS Office)
• Able to effectively work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
