Quality Assurance Manufacturing Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure products and related parts meet approved type design and are fit for safe operation.
• Issue airworthiness certificates for products conforming to approved design requirements under FAA-PMA approval when authorized as a DMIR by the FAA.
• Understand and comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations relevant to FAA-PMA production approval holders and Certified Repair Stations.
• Understand and comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Be familiar with facilities, procedures, manufacturing practices, and inspection techniques pertinent to type certification, original airworthiness certification, export certification, and parts approval, along with associated data for current functions.
