Quality Assurance Lab Technician and Blender - Mankato, MN

Location: Mankato, MN

About the Role

• Sanitize tanks and equipment to ensure company quality standards are met.
• Locate necessary ingredients in inventory and transport to syrup room for blending.
• Blend syrup ingredients according to established standards and procedures.
• Unload sugar/concentrate.
• Maintain records and logs of procedures, results, and inventory.
• Interpret blending/sanitation schedule requirements and plan personal schedule accordingly to suit priorities.
• Periodically perform inventory checks and sort concentrates.
• Assure ingredient stock is rotated.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and organized.
• Comply with all safety, GMP, sanitation, and food safety standards.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to problem solve.
• Good communication skills; must be able to read, write, and communicate in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate and utilize a computer, laboratory, and test equipment.
• Basic knowledge of soft drink operations and SPC is preferred but not required.
• Ability and desire to work within a team but can also work alone with minimal supervision.
• Must be a self-starter who leads by example and is dependable.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a daily basis.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis (company will not sponsor employment visas).

$24.60 per hour

Schedule

4:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
