Quality Assurance Lab Technician (2nd Shift) - Norfolk, NE

About The Role

Sanitize tanks and equipment to ensure company quality standards are met. Locate necessary ingredients in inventory and transport to syrup room for blending. Blend syrup ingredients according to established standards and procedures. Unload sugar/concentrate. Maintain records and logs of procedures and results. Interpret blending/sanitation schedule requirements and plan personal schedule accordingly to suit priorities. Periodically perform inventory checks and sort concentrates. Assure ingredient stock is rotated. Keep work area and equipment clean. Comply with all safety, GMP, sanitation and food safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

• High school education or equivalent
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English and follow written and verbal instructions
• Requires the ability to operate and utilize a computer, and laboratory and test equipment
• Basic knowledge of soft drink operations and SPC is preferred, but not required
• Must exhibit ability and desire to work within a team but can work alone
• Works with minimal supervision, be a self-starter who leads by example, and be dependable
• Requires the ability to lift 75 lbs on a daily basis and must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Range: $24.60/hr + $1.75 Shift Differential
• Shift/Work Schedule: 5:00pm–5:00am, Monday–Friday, occasional weekends may be required
