As a Quality Assurance Inspector on the 3rd shift, you’ll join a tight-knit team dedicated to ensuring excellence in every component. Responsibilities
- Plan and perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools, gages, and equipment using written procedures, drawings, and instructions.
- Use fixed and variable measuring instruments, including automated measuring machines with well-defined program instructions, to check dimensions and record results.
- Perform mathematical computations to determine nonconformance and complete required paperwork.
- Conduct in-line checks and verify dimensions, ensuring adherence to operation sheets.
- Recognize and arrange for repair or replacement of inspection equipment as needed.
- Perform routine servicing and upkeep of assigned area following specified procedures and checklists to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Assist with specialized inspection processes, such as statistical process control or other quality assurance programs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of quality assurance inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
