QUALITY ASSURANCE FINAL INSPECTOR (2ND SHIFT)

About the role

Join a leading manufacturer of life-changing medical device components as the final line of defense before products reach customers. As a Quality Assurance Final Inspector, you’ll ensure every part meets exact specifications and reflects the company’s high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections on precision-machined medical device components
• Read and interpret blueprints and inspection requirements
• Detect scratches, burrs, nicks, and surface finish defects, often under magnification
• Verify compliance with customer specifications and quality standards
• Support calibration and traceability of inspection equipment
• Help ensure products are delivered accurately and on time

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• 1–2+ years of Quality Assurance experience
• Blueprint reading experience
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environment (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Inspection in manufacturing or machining environments
• Experience performing final inspection before shipment
• Experience in ISO-regulated environments (medical device, aerospace, or other regulated industries preferred)
