Quality Assurance Engineer - NJ

Duties

• Recommends and develops Quality Management System components, including environmental monitoring.
• Investigates non-conformances to determine root cause and implements corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinates internal and external audit programs, such as cleaning validations, pest control, and outside water testing.
• Acts as Quality liaison for customers and suppliers, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.
• Purchases and calibrates QA lab and floor scales, as well as purchases lab and plant safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Prepares and presents the Annual Management Review.
• Contributes to a cooperative working environment by performing other job-related tasks as needed or requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or a related role.
• 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance.
• Experience with GMP and manufacturing environments (cosmetic or food), as well as knowledge of 21 CFR 170.

Pay and Schedule

• 40 hours/week.
• $129,251 to 150,500 per year.
