Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for establishing and enforcing quality assurance measures for ITS projects, developing test cases and scenarios, identifying candidates for automation, providing tier III support, and communicating test progress, results, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce QA measures for ITS projects.
• Translate business/functional requirements into test cases and scenarios.
• Identify candidates for automation, build automated test structures.
• Test and install commercial off-the-shelf products.
• Analyze results, report defects, advise on release decisions.
• Work with engineers on regression, load, and system testing.
• Communicate test progress, results, and recommendations.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and customer support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• OR 3+ years QA/automated testing experience, or Business Analyst/Software Engineer experience within the Colorado Judicial Department.
• Year-for-year work experience substitution allowed for formal education.
