Responsibilities
- Execute rigorous manual and functional test cases across web and mobile cloud applications, isolating Edge cases and documenting clear, reproducible bug reports with detailed logs.
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts for robust regression testing suites, minimizing manual overhead over time.
- Validate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend system endpoints to verify data payload accuracy, system performance, and seamless system-to-system interoperability.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings, collaborating with developers and product managers to champion QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- Education & Core Foundations: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a highly quantitative technical field. Related internship experience or boot camp certification is highly desirable.
- Programming & Scripting Aptitude: Foundational programming proficiency in at least one object-oriented or scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or Java) with the ability to write clean, logical code for basic automation scripts.
- Testing Frameworks & Concepts: Conceptual understanding or academic project experience utilizing open-source automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress) alongside API testing suites (Postman or SoapUI).
- Data Manipulation & Databases: Foundational knowledge of relational databases and database querying using SQL (writing select queries, standard joins, and data validation steps).
- Version Control & DevOps Literacy: Familiarity with source control management systems (Git/GitHub) and a conceptual understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptionally detail-oriented with a methodical approach to tracking down root causes of failures, paired with strong technical communication skills in English for clear bug reporting.
Pay
Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000 base structure + Performance Bonus, Equity Options & Premium Corporate Health Benefits.
