FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc., is a global leader in chemical solutions which enable the semiconductor industry and the digital universe. We have an exciting opportunity at our Mesa, Arizona facility for a Quality Assurance Engineer!
Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Operation and Business organizations to ensure quality strategies are consistently executed to meet customer's and corporation’s quality expectations.
- Drive root cause analysis, using proven 8D/MBPS methodologies, to identify root causes of problems identified.
- Coincide containment and long-term corrective strategies. Includes facilitating customer taskforce activities.
- Actively support organization’s ISO-9001 Quality Management goals, in such areas as Audits, Documentation Control, Non-Conforming Material, PCP/FMEA, and Calibration.
- Provide training to personnel to ensure awareness of quality expectations.
- Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with Operations and Business personnel.
- Support the manufacturing groups to design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
- Reports directly to the Quality Manager
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or equivalent technical degree, with specialization in Quality Systems and Statistics.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in QA systems, (semiconductor industry preferred).
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written/presentations) at all levels.
- Self-motivated individual with a passion to learn new skills.
- Experience in problem solving techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge in the principles of statistics and statistical process control is a plus.
- Open to traveling. Visits to other manufacturing sites, supplier and customer sites (including occasional overseas travel)
- Proficiency in MS Office.
