About the role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Cincinnati, OH team! Quality Assurance Engineers at the Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Cincinnati location develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products for projects related to the nuclear industry, which is a highly regulated industry.
Responsibilities
- Must assure compliance to CW Quality Management System, Customer purchase orders, specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare and provide product quality assurance documentation as required by customer programs and the quality management system.
- Review and approve Quality Verification Documents.
- Review and evaluate nonconformances, develop and implement corrective action as needed.
- Perform vendor source inspection activities.
- Participates in and support customer and vendor audits.
- Perform inspections on safety related components and systems.
- Able to follow and create work instructions.
- Time management, multi-tasking, and communicating daily.
- Work as a team member and participate in activities to improve operations and the facility.
- Understand the workload and provide support as needed to meet business objectives.
- Aids other personnel as required.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Two (2) to Four (4) years of related experience
- Familiarity with ASME NQA-1, Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications and/or 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants desired
- Familiarity with ASME Section III, Rules for Constructions of Nuclear Facility Components a plus

- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.
