Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment; demonstrate positive safety behaviors and attitudes.
• Assign and coordinate work to maximize productivity and attain production schedule.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including authority for personnel actions.
• Maintain and enhance employee qualifications, identify training needs, and address qualifications gaps.
• Manage and coordinate investigation of after-shipment requests from customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Develop metrics to assess manufacturing conformance, including supplier documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Drive improvement of the metrics.
• Prepare necessary reports and provide regular feedback to management.

Requirements

• Achieve a minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and solid computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook.
• Ability to motivate a team, utilizing strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of related experience in manufacturing or quality.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including being disciplined, assertive, and energetic, to meet safety and production performance goals.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
