Quality Assurance Coating Operator

Responsibilities
- Potentially work in light and dark room conditions.
- Work 11-hour days or 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Work overnights and possibly weekends.
- Ensure coating machines run smoothly.
- Inspect freshly coated film products for imperfections.
- Prepare materials used in coating with precise engineering processes.
- Handle large quantities of chemicals and understand Safety Data Sheets.
- Communicate clearly and prioritize work to meet business needs.
- Express oneself effectively in writing and verbally.
- Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Obtain Power Industrial Truck (fork truck) license at Kodak.
- Interact with engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
- Be involved in product quality and process improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented team player.
- Able to be flexible and multi-task.
- Works effectively with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work overtime or adjust schedule.
- Ability to prioritize work and express oneself clearly.
- Computer proficiency including navigating screens and data entry.
- Responsible for specific manufacturing processes, inputs, outputs, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledgeable in thin-film coating processes and problem-solving skills.
- Strong data analysis and computer abilities (Excel, Word).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Understanding of film photography and thin-film coating processes.
- Knowledge of Outlook, One-LIMS, Felix, and SAP system.
