The QUALITY ASSURANCE AUTOMATION ENGINEER II plays a pivotal role in advancing automated test coverage and embedding AI-driven testing practices within the quality assurance process. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of AI-generated tests, maintaining and extending automation suites, and collaborating closely with QA analysts to implement AI-assisted testing standards. The role emphasizes critical evaluation of AI outputs, deep understanding of the TMS and Salesforce platforms, and contributing to improved testing quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Continuously review and validate automated test coverage for the TMS.
• Identify and flag unreliable or false-positive tests, including those generated by AI.
• Maintain and expand automated test suites for the Salesforce-native TMS following established priorities.
• Utilize AI tools daily to generate and maintain test cases and accelerate test reviews.
• Develop deep expertise in the TMS and underlying Salesforce platform.
• Lead the adoption of AI-assisted testing practices throughout the QA team, collaborating with QA analysts.

Requirements

• Daily hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor) in testing workflows.
• Ability to critically assess AI-generated test outputs and identify shortcomings.
• 2-4 years of experience writing and maintaining automated tests using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java within AI-assisted environments.
• Experience reviewing test automation code, including AI-generated code.
• Proficiency in API and integration testing, with risk assessment skills.
• A quality assurance mindset focused on product functionality and user experience.
• Curiosity about processes and products, with a collaborative and coachable attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce platform testing, including Lightning/LWC UI automation and Apex basics.
• Background in logistics, TMS, freight brokerage, or supply chain software.
• Experience working with distributed or third-party test automation teams.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Administrator.
