Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites for regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Leverage Agentic AI technologies to generate, execute, and optimize test cases, analyze results, and improve defect detection
• Execute manual regression and functional testing of enterprise product features, including web applications, reporting, and integrations
• Develop and implement AI-assisted testing strategies to increase test coverage, accelerate testing cycles, and reduce manual effort
• Perform installation, upgrade, and validation testing across supported environments
• Collaborate with engineering teams during planning, story grooming, and design discussions to ensure testability and quality are integrated from the outset
• Review and interpret product and business requirements to define comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve test plans, test cases, and automation assets
• Execute tests, record results, and communicate test status and risks effectively to stakeholders
• Generate detailed defect reports, track issues, and support timely resolution with development teams
• Continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, automation effectiveness, and quality metrics
• Advocate for best practices in QA, test automation, and AI-driven testing across the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of software testing experience
• Proficiency in utilizing APIs (SOAP, REST, GraphQL) and writing API tests
• Experience with source control tools such as Git or Github
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, including SQL and Oracle
• Expertise with automation tools like Selenium, Postman, Playwright, etc.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Github Copilot, or Kiro in testing workflows
• Proven ability to build and maintain robust testing frameworks
• Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
