About the role

The Quality Assurance Auditor ensures adherence to high-quality Workers' Compensation claims handling through ongoing monitoring, assessment, and implementation of required actions. The role assures compliance with claims handling expectations and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders and partnering with cross-functional teams to support the business. The Quality Assurance Auditor collaborates with senior leaders on documenting evolving claim handling expectations, provides input and insight to claims assurance questionnaires in alignment with evolving expectations, audits internally and externally handled claims and maintains calibration with peers and technical claims partners.

What you'll do

  • Assist in engaging with the business for the strategic direction of claims management practices
  • Maintain high knowledge and expertise through training and industry networks
  • Demonstrate compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Act as an internal escalation point for customer communication and engagement
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide feedback to claims teams
  • Assist in the analysis and reporting of results and trends
  • Ensure audits, analyses, and reports are completed to a high standard and on time
  • Provide coaching to individuals based on review outcomes
  • Monitor and implement improvement plans for performance management
  • Follow up on timely completion of action items from audits and health checks

Work experience

  • Required: Some relevant work experience
  • Preferred: Some experience in Workers' Remuneration; proven track record as a performer; experience in file reviews and/or audit; experience in coaching/training and providing feedback based on reports and data analysis

Qualifications

  • Required: Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Preferred: Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, commerce or equivalent

Pay

$69,500–$114,500

Schedule

Full time, Hybrid (mix of working from home and in the office in Atlanta, GA)
