Quality Assurance Auditor-1st shift
About the role
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school certification, associate degree, or related education preferred.
- Minimum of two years of relevant quality inspection, auditing, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience inspecting high-precision manufactured components is highly preferred.
Additional Responsibilities
- Analyze quality performance data and metrics.
- Evaluate trends, Pareto analyses, and performance indicators.
- Prepare and communicate reports that support quality improvement initiatives and business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI), Certified Quality Technician (CQT), or similar quality certifications.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and quality management systems.
- Previous experience supporting aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or precision machining environments.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking and standing throughout a manufacturing facility.
- Regular exposure to manufacturing conditions including heat, noise, machinery, and industrial odors.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional work within the Metallurgical Laboratory environment, which may include exposure to acids, bases, and other chemicals used during material preparation and testing.
Collaboration & Teamwork
This position works closely with employees throughout the organization, including production personnel, supervisors, engineering, purchasing, quality, and sales teams. You'll play an important role in inspections, corrective actions, process improvements, work instruction development, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and capability studies. You may also interact with: Regal Rexnord colleagues, Customers, External auditors.
