  • Validate dynamic content, personalization rules, event triggers, and data accuracy before deployment.
  • Identify, document, and track issues related to segmentation mismatches, automation logic, and campaign execution failures.
  • Apply a mix of manual, exploratory, and repeatable validation methods based on campaign complexity, risk, and timeline.
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate pre-launch checks, spot inconsistencies, and improve test coverage while maintaining human review and final QA accountability.
  • Investigate live campaign issues using platform logs, segmentation reports, and campaign performance data.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations, CRM, and data teams to troubleshoot campaign execution errors.
  • Validate webhook integrations, API connections, and cross-channel marketing triggers.
  • Surface recurring failure patterns and recommend practical guardrails, checklists, or workflow changes to reduce repeat issues.
  • Ensure audience segmentation accuracy and data integrity before deployment using SQL or marketing analytics tools.

  • Develop QA checklists, testing procedures, and best practices for marketing campaign validation.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and campaign QA methodologies to improve team efficiency.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance workflow efficiency, audience segmentation, and testing approaches.
  • Monitor campaign quality signals after launch and use findings to improve future test strategies and defect prevention.
  • Partner with teammates to trial more automated or AI-supported approaches to campaign QA, anomaly detection, and data validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study.
  • 2+ years of experience in QA, marketing operations, or CRM platform testing.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Iterable, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • 2+ years of experience with email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging campaigns.
  • Familiarity with segmentation logic, audience targeting, and personalization strategies.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using Google Sheets, Looker, or Mode Analytics.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in diagnosing segmentation and campaign execution issues.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, CRM, and analytics teams.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about AI and automation, with the ability to use emerging tools thoughtfully to improve QA workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic SQL skills to analyze campaign data and investigate segmentation issues.
  • Experience using Postman, Retool, or similar API testing tools for troubleshooting integrations.
  • Familiarity with QA automation tools or scripting languages (Python or JavaScript) for efficiency improvements.
  • Understanding of direct mail QA processes and print vendor integrations.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices, sender reputation management, and campaign performance monitoring.
  • Experience in fast-paced, agile marketing environments with rapid iteration cycles.
  • Experience experimenting with AI tools, prompt-based workflows, or automation assistants in a marketing, operations, or QA context.
  • Familiarity with human-in-the-loop QA approaches, where AI helps accelerate validation but humans remain responsible for judgment, escalation, and release readiness.
