Quality Assurance Associate

6-month contract position, 40 hours per week, on-site 5 days per week. Open to US citizens or Green Card holders only.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in conformance with regulations and standards efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct inspection and analysis of results, determining final disposition of some product.
• Detect nonconforming conditions.
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods.
• Adhere to quality guidelines and comply with regulations and standards.
• Identify basic non-compliance within regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Demonstrated understanding in the use of calibrated equipment and ability to follow equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
• Associate’s degree in quality, life sciences, or engineering related field (may be equivalent to 2 years of experience).
• Proven ability to correctly interpret drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Able to use standard measuring equipment including calipers, RAM optic, micrometers, pin gauges, gage blocks, etc.
• Maintain appropriate licenses, training, or certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Pay

$20–$25 per hour.
