About the role
The Quality Assurance Aircraft Structures Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of aircraft structures. This position requires a thorough understanding of aircraft design and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting aircraft structures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Performing non-destructive testing (NDT) on various components using specialized equipment.
- Documenting findings and preparing inspection reports for review by engineers and management.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to structural integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft inspection or quality assurance.
- Knowledge of NDT techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and magnetic particle testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
