Quality Assurance Advisor
About the role
The Quality Assurance Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of homes built by the community construction team. This role involves inspecting and reviewing construction methods, analyzing safety and water intrusion practices, and identifying areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality standard inspections and reviews
- Analyze field safety and water intrusion practices
- Make field visits to ensure adherence to specifications and details
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop cost-efficient construction methods
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10 years of related experience
- Knowledge of construction materials
- Basic math skills with some cost accounting knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Understanding of construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and warranty standards
Qualifications
A valid driver's license is required.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential.
