Quality and Reporting Analyst

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Work from the newly remodeled Lucas Building on the Capitol Complex. Telework may be an option upon successful completion of the six-month probationary period. Applicants will be required to complete a background check to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze managed care reporting to ensure compliance with state, federal, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and publish public-facing dashboards showing Medicaid and MCO performance.
• Review reports to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Enhance reporting processes and tools to improve data quality, usability, and automation.
• Work directly with Managed Care Plans and data teams to resolve issues and improve accuracy.
• Support oversight activities by preparing reports, conducting special analyses, and providing technical assistance to contract managers.
• Provide clear, actionable insights that support leadership, policy development, and decision-making.
• Translate complex data findings into understandable insights that guide program improvements and decision-making.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the Selective Requirement for Statistical Data Analysis:

• 6 months’ experience, 12 semester hours, or a combination of both in statistical data analysis including:
  • Statistical research
  • Analysis or evaluation of statistical data
• Clerical or technical work primarily limited to collecting, compiling, or assembling statistical data should not be counted toward this selective.

Minimum Qualification Requirements: Applicants must meet at least one of the following:

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in any field, and experience equal to three years of full-time work in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations.
• All of the following (a and b):
  • Three years of full-time work experience in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations; and
  • A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience.
• All of the following (a, b, and c):
  • One year of full-time work experience in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations; and
  • A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience; and
  • A total of two years of graduate-level education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where twenty-four semester hours of accredited graduate college or university coursework in business administration, industrial management, statistics, natural science, or a closely-related field equals one year of full-time experience.
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes six months of full-time work as a Management Analyst 2 or two and a half years as a Management Analyst 1.
