Job Summary
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborates with production, engineering, and quality teams to collect data, troubleshoot issues, and streamline processes.
- Develops manufacturing support documentation such as work instructions, procedures, and training materials.
- Affords product inspections and audits to ensure process compliance.
- Investigates quality failures, conducts trend and root cause analysis, and supports process improvement projects.
- Educates employees on standards and documentation and fosters skill development across teams.
- Gains insights from Production to develop solutions and document best practices.
- Tailors programs and documentation to diverse learning styles for optimal employee success.
- Travels to other locations and job sites as required.
Education And Experience Requirements
- An associates degree, preferably in mechanical, electrical, computer, industrial, or a related STEM/engineering field.
- Prior experience or understanding of large-scale manufacturing is highly desired.
Preferred Certification And Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel required; experience with Publisher, Visio, and PowerBi preferred.
- Familiarity with basic quality inspection, Continuous Improvement, Lean manufacturing, and process flow preferred.
- Experience in Quality, ASQ Certification, ISO, Lean, Statistical Process Control, and Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred.
Essential Physical Functions
- Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Walk up and down stairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Work Environment Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
- Required to wear proper personal protective equipment.
