About the role
Avalon Senior Living is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to assist in administering medications and support residents in the memory care unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper documentation
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Provide compassionate care to residents in the memory care unit
Requirements
- Certified Qualified Medication Aide
- CPR certification
- Previous experience in memory care or a similar setting preferred
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
