About the role
Alexandria Health and Rehabilitation is seeking Qualified Medication Aides to-
- Prepare and administer safely and document regularly prescribed oral medicationsto residents.
- Administer as allowed, oral PRN drugs when authorized by a licensed nurse.
- Understand that injectable medications must always be given by a licensed nurse.
- Demonstrate knowledge that the telephone or verbal orders may never beaccepted by a QMA.
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge that appropriate vital signs will be taken and recorded as required before administering certain medications.

Pay
Annual Wage Scale: $35,360 - $50,960
