Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide/Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and help clients manage their medications.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
• Document and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervisor.
• Operate medical equipment as required and assist with prescribed physical therapy exercises.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment, adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; certification in nursing assistance or home care is a plus.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and carry out physical tasks.
