QSR Subway Sales Team Lead Trainee

The QSR Team Leader greets and serves guests, prepares food, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. The Team Leader also assists in training of new employees and some ordering. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this job! Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their ordersDemonstrates a complete understanding of the menu items and explains them to guests accuratelyUses plus-selling techniques and makes customers aware of promotionsRings food orders on the register and collects payment from guests making change accordinglyPrepares food neatly, according to formula, in a timely mannerChecks products in food & beverage areas and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shiftUnderstands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean upCleans and maintains all food service areas, including the guest seating area and display cases, to promote a clean imageCleans and sanitizes all food service utensils and dishes in the three compartment sink (wash, rinse, sanitize)Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as required in the Franchise Operations ManualRoutinely monitors and records food temperatures on a log to ensure safe holding temperatures of hot and refrigerated foodsMaintains a professional appearance and grooming standardsPerforms light paperwork duties as assignedWorks safely with various food service equipment as dictated by the franchise (i.e. ovens, microwaves, toasters, meat slicers, knives, deep fryers, can openers, etc.)Completes the training courses as directed and/or dictated by the franchiseAssists the Franchise Manager with some orderingTrains Associates and verifies understandingAge Requirement Must be 18 years of age or olderAvailability Must be able to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.Willingness Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift.
