Responsibilities
- Maintains the written procedures, work instructions and forms of the Quality Management System as assigned.
- Create an internal audit schedule and perform internal audits per Corporate directive.
- Presents the systems status report monthly to Corporate.
- Ensures the written audit reports and updated internal audit schedule is approved by the Manager of QMS.
- Oversees the issuance of corrective actions and follows up countermeasure implementation.
- Conduct follow up special audits per Customer specifics requirement updates and submit report to Corporate
- Advise and assist the upper management with any concerns about the QMS.
- Evaluates the application of the Standards within the procedures, work instructions and policies.
- Key participant in all customer and third-party audits at the assigned facility.
- Key participant in local Management review representing Corporate.
Qualifications
- Able to operate computer effectively with Windows, spreadsheet, presentation and word processor programs
- Basic typing skills
- Training specific to placement in position
- IATF Lead Auditor Course (passing exam or working toward completion of training or testing).
- Customer specific training as required.
