Responsible Duties
- Safe administration of all prescribed medications following the 6 rights of medication administration.
- Count and document all narcotics administered to residents.
- Total inventory management of medications, including ordering, receiving, verifying, storing, and reporting discrepancies.
- Daily cleaning and restocking of medicine carts.
- Weekly deep cleaning of medicine carts.
- Verification of current MARs at changeover time.
- Providing personal care to residents, such as bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and eating.
- Providing general nursing care, including vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, and weights.
- Documenting appropriate information in the daily log as required.
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in a senior care setting.
- State-specific QMAP certificate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and positive demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail.
