About the role

The Med Tech Caregiver at Modena Cherry Creek PT is responsible for administering medications and treatments, measuring vital signs and weight, collecting, storing, and transporting specimens for laboratory studies, adhering to medication room systems, working closely with healthcare professionals, and supervising resident assistants.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments
• Measures vital signs and weight
• Collections, stores, and transports certain specimens for laboratory studies
• Adheres to all medication room systems per policy
• Works with physicians to implement orders
• Documents pertinent information accurately
• Acts as facility supervisor when management staff is absent
• Supervises resident assistants to ensure completion of daily duties

Requirements

• Required to receive the annual Flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions
• Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop, or sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects/people weighing more than 50lbs
• Ability to maintain concentration on safety, detail, and accuracy for sustained periods
• Shows sincere compassion towards older adults
• Demonstrates genuine concern for the physical and emotional needs of older people and their families
• Displays a team spirit in performance of daily duties
• Displays a high level of personal integrity
